I’m honoured to both practice and share Qigong and to receive inspiring feedback

Tan’s approach to Qi Gong instruction catalyzes one’s quest to inhabit a body of more fluidity! Her experience, wisdom and knowledge of meridians, movement and body systems all fold into an amazing personalized qi gong session. Tan expertly attunes to individual needs to progress one’s confidence in personal body awareness, movement, strength and balance. She emphasizes individual ability and timing rather than complete mastery of poses for personal healing. Throughout a session, she demonstrates poses with explanation of purpose in relationship to qi flow and body systems stimulated. After five weeks of once weekly sessions, my lower back, sciatica and hip discomfort have dissipated. I have regained flexibility and strength in these areas exasperated by prolonged desk work of past two years. My body’s ability to again move with ease and confidence feels amazing! Best of all, Tan’s teaching extends beyond time spent in session. Often, I find myself repeating a sequence during mundane daily routines to maintain flexibility and strength gained through her wise and gentle instruction. Tan is highly skilled to integrate mind, body and spirit healing of anyone who is fortunate to involve her benevolent services in her or his life.

an is an amazing teacher and a wondrous soul, who brings gentle light into my daily life. I suffered a back injury in early 2021 and practicing Qi Gong with Tan made such a positive difference in my willingness to face the day each morning. Tan is attentive to personal details so each student could have customized practices targeting his/her needs. I noticed that my body is getting softer and more fluid as I practice. The level of practice that I have been learning with Tan is just right, which I can easily incorporate into my daily routines, such as sitting at my desk or even cooking. I love to practice in the morning in my backyard with my two Akitas, who are eager to watch me exercise. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn the practice of Qi Gong with Tan and always look forward to the next session!
