Qigong, pronounced “ch’i gong,” is an ancient practice using the mind, body, and breath for both healing and well-being that was developed in China thousands of years ago - some refer to it as 'mindfulness in motion'.
Are you ready to learn an art that can be used for health maintenance, physical, and emotional healing and general well-being, to build a better connection to self - your inner compass to your deep wisdom and spiritual being?
Do you struggle with sleep problems, overthinking, stiff neck and shoulders, headaches, back pain, stress, worry, anxiety, mobility issues, digestive issues, aches/pains etc? Do you need a practice that can support and help your current sports/exercise routine and can also help the recovery process?
Qigong practice involves using both dynamic movements and static poses, meditation, intention, and breathwork to release, cultivate, and optimize energy (Qi) within the body. It can help release tight fascia and muscles, help move fluids around the body, and support removing toxins.
We will practice teachings from the White Tiger School (Daoist - medical Qigong) fused with Sports Science & Ancient Chinese Medicine, practices from the Shaolin Temple (Buddhist/martial Qigong) school, and from many teachers and mentors I have learned from. I aim to keep the lineages true to the teachings but will incorporate features from each style when teaching seasonal qigong or during mindful flow sessions.

'Mindful Flow' Qigong - Saturdays - 09:30 - 10:30 - This is a beginner's practice in which we will explore the themes of Connect, Release, Reset, and flow.
We will practice outdoors weather permitting so wear walking shoes and bring relevant clothing + water.
Mindfulness training + Mindful Flow Qigong in English (Maastricht) - New sessions based on demand - Monday evenings 18:30 - 21:00 over 6 sessions covering 8 weeks, you'll be in a group environment with the option to join online twice. Max 8 persons, costs can be deducted from most insurance providers - please message me for more details.
